The Houston Astros are very great at baseball. So good, it appears one bettor in New Jersey would like to wager over $5 million which they will win the World Series of Major League Baseball.
According to a record filed at the New Jersey Department of Gambling Enforcement site, a request was filed related to this sports betting license.
We do know that somebody requested that the cap of $ 5 million be waived for at least one wager, although we know little about what’s currently likely down. Here’s this request made to the DGE’s name:
That clearly means somebody would like to wager MORE.
The only clue is that the Astros are cited in conjunction. It is reasonable that the bet is likely about the Astros to win the World Series. It is at least possible it’d be a bet to win the American League pennant.
If the waiver was granted it’s not yet known.
There are 3 choices available on who might be reserving this, and just two are NJ sportsbook apps:
All three work under the permit under which the waiver has been filed. PlayNJ has reached out to PointsBet, FanDuel and the DGE to attempt if the waiver was granted to verify.
They are +220 at FanDuel and +200 at PointsBet, if the wager is to win the World Series.
Regulations from the country say as that’s, that wagers can not be in excess of 5 million arbitrary of a number:
Will the bettor in query need to be satisfied with $5 million in action? We’ll have to wait to learn.
